Aloha, all you fine, furry, transformation-loving furs! Travis, ShadowFox014, here with a few updates!
First off, Curious and I have regained control of this account again, obviously! :D It took a little time to get everything sorted, and after some confusion on both sides, the fine staff here changed our info to allow us to sign in! :3
Second, for those of you on Twitter, I'm pleased to announce that TransformNation now has a presence there! :D You can find it right over here! Feel free to ask questions, share stuff, it's all about building a better TF-y community! I'm currently on vacation now, so updates there a bit slow for the next week or so, but starting next Tuesday I've got some fun plans for anyone wanting to participate!
If you're interested in what sorts of things will be going on there, think small games, short contests, giveaways (including TF licenses, Pokemon Trainer licenses, free drawings/morphs, and more!), polls, artist shoutouts, and other fun things! I'm working on some designs for some schnazzy TF Nation Membership cards that'll only be available to winners and some participants in giveaways and contests here and on Twitter!
Lastly, I'm sure you may have noticed, we finally have an icon! :D Now, I'm sure some of you are wondering what it is! It's a flag! :3c I was thinking, nations have flags, we're TransformNATION, we need a flag! Thanks to a few furry folks who helped refine the design with their feedback! If any of you (that I haven't told!) can be the first to guess the inspiration of the shaping and colors, you'll snag a free sketch from me! :3 No worries if not, it's not too obvious, but let's see who can find out! ^^
If you're interested in showing some TransformNation pride, you can put the flag in your profile by using--

Might have a small contest in the works as well, so be sure to stay tuned to this page and/or Twitter for news on that a bit later! It may have something to do with these...Pocket...Monsters...on the go...and what not.... >;3c

Red and blue separated by a whitish azure bend, stamped over by a blue lozenge with a white canine paw charge. And one white star in the upper fly. (Hope I got the terms right)
Transformation--or the broader term, change--deals with some amount of struggle (red). However this shade of red is not incredibly intense, so the struggle is not meant to be taken so, either. It is actually the goal of some to seek the change (white star in red field) and submit themselves willingly to the idea of struggling with change, for in that, comes spiritual settlement (light azure bend), and then liberation, (blue field). The furry community as a whole carries the strong ideal of liberation (white paw in blue lozenge), so its blue and the blue of TransformNation are the same, demonstrating a solidarity between the... ...am I anywhere close?
Definitely worth an award of some sort! Got anythin' you've been diggin' in terms of TF for a sketch of some sort? :3c
How about a pretty chica turning into a tayra, (also called the tolomuco, or haka). Their colors differ from region to region, but whatever subspecies you pick, can her garb reflect the locale?
What was the star originally intended to be? Besides the states of the U.S. flag, I can't find anything definitive on what a 5-point star symbolizes.
Unfortunately, I'm afraid I have no familiarity with flags so I doubt I'll be snagging the sketch
