Personally, I watched you for your SFW stuff and your style. You have such an amazing style that I wish I could afford to get a few things from you. I would LOVE to see how you draw my sonas and what not.

Stick to what you want, I say. If you don't want to do it, then don't. But that's just me. Romantic, yes. Porn, no. But again, that's just my opinion.

Maybe going to this site was a wrong idea - so much potential clients, wich wanna see porn only. And I have not enough energy to earn on SFW - I spend too much time for one art. So I must do something else or drawing something the most demanding.
But I heard you. Romantic theme - is a good compromise.

Trust me, I feel the same. I thought that if I could open up raffle and try and bring in some more watchers myself, I might be able to do something and maybe help my husband by generating a bit of income since I'm a stay at home mom. But, I can't. Mostly because I do not want to be another porn artist. Don't get me wrong, if you got the will and the want to do it, all the more too you, but that sort of stuff isn't for me. And I don't feel like I should have to change what I draw. I wish more people understood that.

But for me, I am not sure where else to go at times, so I just stay here. Doing my small free stuff and for now, that's alright. I do hope you find something that works for you that doesn't mean you have to go and do something you are uncomfortable with. Everyone should be allowed to do what they want and its always sad when they feel like they can't because no one is listening or paying attention.

Honestly, I wish you didn't have to go down that road. Please don't let porn become all you draw!

I'll never turn completely to NSFW road :) That's too hard to me. You'll always can see clean-art in my gallery, I can promise you this.

Yah its hard to do on this site, its generally focused on porn and a lot of artist want to do non-porn, but doesn't have high demand.

I think non-porn ideas can also be harder, harder just to come up with the ideas and then to try to YCH for clients who it will resonate with. Sex resonates with a lot of people especially guys .
You have an excellent style and quality, your developing quite nicely and spend a lot of time on your art for such low prices, but still hard to get exposure to new audiences.
Maybe more advertisement reposting for YCHs, and in general posting of art. I also try to post my commissioned work too to try and bump artist.

That's not hard for me to to come up with the ideas for YCHes, I do this every time when my brain not loaded with job and problems, and I can do this in 15 minutes ) It's hard to picture it worthily and the another problem - my specific tastes. As you see, I wanna draw forests, mountains, old magic. In heart I hate cities and all the main part of civilization, I never show my sexual prefers in public IRL and I don't like cartoon style of furries (I'm not actually Furry, my char is more than just cool appearance). All this factors usualy tie my hands in drawing any YCHes and commissions and affect my popularity. As you see, I'm finding for compromises.

For ideas I think you have to imagine what people hunger for in art. Lust/Sex is the obvious, but I think love, action and sentimental themes could do well too. Here's one I thought of as coming home from bad day at work and love how the artist did it http://www.furaffinity.net/view/17409985/

I watched you for your SFW art and I try to support artists who prefer doing SFW commissions. I usually get commissions rather than YCH because I don't often see a YCH that seems appropriate for my own 'sona. I think I only have 1 YCH of him.

Pictures on FA with the Transformation tag get MANY views so that may be a good theme for a YCH.

When I get another commission I will try to think of ideas to help you get more watchers.

Transformation is harder then drawing pure humans. As I can imagine this, I can tackle such commission for a higher prise than a standart fullsize. And the quality will be worse. Maybe sometime, but not in my current level )

The transformation theme can be used for transformation from anthro to feral, or from one species to another, or from no wings to winged. It is surprising how many more views postings get when they have that "Transformation" tag.

For a YCH with a transformation theme, I think you would draw one background that would be used for all pictures of a series, then do a ladder YCH for how many pictures the series will have, with limitations on what the starting and ending forms can be and whether any of them are allowed to be NSFW. Quick pose sketches with different poses and species on the background would make good YCH reminders. It is just an idea to think about.

I honestly watch you for your SFW art. It's beautiful, I do like NSFW but if an artist isn't comfortable drawing NSFW then they shouldn't be forced to draw it. Your SFW art is amazing though so I am excited to see you dabble in NSFW but but I won't be sad if you never do it again.

And artists can drawing whatever they want very rarely. It's possible only for GREAT artists, but before that they must growing on some uncomfortable things, that's normal.

I watched you for a NSFW art, because it lingered long enough in a category I was drawing in for me to find it! The reasons I liked it very much have to do with how lovely your style is for illustration in general, though. Maybe you should put together a portfolio of clean work with a lessened emphasis on the 'furry' audience and start putting yourself out in the industry in general, rather than just to us silly folk here?

I have seen other artists write about their frustration regarding the attention that porn art receives (and needing to eat). One of the most humorous was the short comment under this nice artistic piece about the choice of whether to "work in the porn mines, or do some fine art".

Porn/sex is not the only way to appeal to viewers. Any powerful/universal idea can interest viewers, such as freedom, peace, harmony, love, caring for children, natural beauty, seasons/cycles, celebration, rejoicing, conflict/battle, victory, power, etc. Ideas that trigger/initiate/cause strong emotions, desire, or sympathy all have 'power'. Since I don't commission sexy/porn/adult artwork of my 'sona, I find it interesting to watch what ideas (other than sex) appeal to others by watching how many Favorites and comments different artworks get.
