I wear glasses because my visions bad and my friend and I bought new sunglasses at a flea market one weekend with her mom. Well I noticed they had a slight prescription to them as the ground seemed to shift upwards and I began stepping over bumps or curbs when there wasn't anything there. So as we were walking through the gardening section I was testing it by looking at the ground and lifting my sunglasses up and down, to see if there was something to step over. Since I wasn't paying attention my friend called my name and I looked up and hit a metal pole. Directly at nose level there was a metal knob they twist to turn on the water sprinkler system to water the hanging plants. Needless to say that hurt like a bitch and I broke my new sunglasses. My friend helped me to a picnic table so I could sit since I was in a daze and she thought my nose was broken because my eyes got black and blue almost instantly. I had one hell of a headache too and it hurt. I probably did break it in all honsety, because by the time we got back to my house which was an hour ride my eyes were really dark at that point, but there never was any blood. Because there was no blood my mom didnt feel the need to take me to the hospital and my friends mom was a nurse, she suggested i may have broken my nose. My mom says my nose goes to the one side slightly and it has a bump in the bone where it happened. So needless to say I think I did in fact break my nose. Lol But you really can't tell unless my glasses are off, I honestly don't notice it too much.
