Need advice: Bringing a kid to a con?
I was planning to go to Megaplex next weekend, but I've run into a bit of an issue. My babysitting arrangements are, in all likelihood, going to fall through. (The babysitter-to-be's grandmother is in bad shape, and they are telling me it is "almost certain" they are going to be at her funeral that weekend)
So now my options are to skip the con, or to bring a 14-month-old toddler with me. He's got a very good temperament (doesn't mind being around strangers or new places) and I'm local, so I can leave when he gets fussy. It'd be logistically challenging, but I think it's feasible.
So the more experience con-goers reading this: is this a good idea? Any suggestions or advice would be welcome.

And I've already sworn that I will never, ever be *that* parent who puts their kid on a leash. ;)
