Event details:

TIME: open event from 10 am until everyone is done! You may come and go as you please!

WHAT TO BRING: phone, charger, portable charger(s) if you have them (highly recommended), a small bag to pack snacks or drinks in while walking, A GOOD PAIR OF SHOES!!, some cash to cover lunch and or dinner if you plan on breaking off from the group to eat.

Morning meetup: for the morning Pokemon go players- We will be starting off in the parking lot for the City Commerce Building on 7th and Morton. That puts us close enough to the square, but out of the paid parking area. We will be walking the square until 12:30.
At 12:30 we will be taking a charging break. Food and phones alike! There are several places in the square to eat or you can head over towards College Mall on the east side of town where there are more choices for food. We will reconvene in the IU Parking garage on 11th and Fee Lane. Parking is free on the weekends on campus so don't worry about bringing parking cash.
I will have to split off from the group at 2 to make an appointment for the kids but will rejoin once we finish. Depending on the mood of the group we may break off at that time until after dinner and give everyone some time off their feet. You are more than welcome to go back to my house and watch a movie and chill until we are back. If that looks like the best bet we can eat dinner at my house. I can order pizza or have something prepared.
We'll head back out and hit the rare hot spots around my house and make our way back into town. The east side of town doesn't have a lot of Poke stops, but there are several places around the mall that are hot spots for uncommon Pokemon so make sure you save up your pokeballs for this last part of the night!
When we change positions or take breaks we will allot at least 30 minutes for gym battles as well. Since we have several people interested the likelihood that we will all be on the same team is very unlikely. It's probably best to split up with others on your team so when we're in route you and your team can battle together! My van happily welcomes any and all TEAM VALOR <3 but anyone needing a ride to and from may hop in (we don't discriminate lol).


I currently have enough lures to last 6-8 hours, but multiple lures and incenses are encouraged for when we find a cluster of stops. There are plenty of poke stops on our route so you all should be set for pokeballs for the day. Make sure you hold off on your lucky eggs until the end of the night and you'll be sure to level up from mass evolutions!

All are welcome to come and join! I will have my kids for most of the time so please keep the group PG rated when youngsters are around. Suits are welcome, but please PLEASE beware of the heat!! I would recommend tails over suits for this weather if you wanted to go furry at least until nightfall.

Lastly!!! For the late night furs!!! We will be heading back to town square for bar hopping (lured spots are always nearby if you're underage and still want to join between drinks). I personally will just be Pokemon finding, but I'm more than happy to show you the bars around town :)
