Update and close of fursuit building side of business.
Hey all! We had a mostly wonderful visit back to see family and are in quarantine for the next two weeks. I will be back to normal working times now and will be finishing up the two large YCHs during that time! I'll be re-opening all regular art commissions and collars on the 1st so long as I have at least one of the two big ones done. I'll also be adding a few single and double YCHs around that time as well!
Fursuit close of business update if you haven't heard...
I still have 2 suit heads left in my que and I will start work on those after our quarantine is up on the 8th. After those two heads are done I will be going through my inventory of furs and setting aside a few select colors and selling off the other 100+ yards I have. I know I'll be taking a hit on quite a few of the fabrics, but I really think that making the move out of fursuit making is the right thing for me at this time. I have 3-4 premade heads planned out over the next two years while we are overseas, but I want those to be more about exploring different techniques and add-on accessories to be completely honest.
I probably won't take on any more fursuit parts from here out, either unless it's for travel funds. My main focus will be accessories and moving more into the cosplay type builds where I had originally started.
This won't effect my art side of the business nor my etsy store and con sales (once cons are back). So you guys will still see me around and just as active over on my facebook!
I want to thank you guys for helping me grow as a small business owner and maker over the last 7 years. Every transaction has been unique and for the most part very enjoyable. You guys rock!
