Just a regular day. Having lunch with a friend from work (hibachi) we get ready to leave and pay our tab and the waiter informed us our meal have already been taken care of!! We look at each other like ?? and we went to go find the person that paid for our meals. This doesn't happen very often, but when it does it makes me happy I joined the military. Thank you!

It is nice to see that people still are thankful for things. I always felt odd though when it happened to me while I was on active duty.

Always nice to see things like that. A marine buddy of mine and I usually get the reverse where we wonder why we joined, but that makes those special few moments all the more rewarding.

My most memorable moment was when I landed in Utah for training and 2 kids came up to me and asked if they could have a hug.. I almost teared up..
