Open Letter to my Customers
9 years ago
To all my Wonderful Customers;
I don’t know how many times I’ve started this letter, only to delete it and start again later (but that’s the nature of my condition – I have a lot of trouble staying on course; concentration doesn’t come easy.)
I know you’ve all noticed that I’ve been out of touch for a few months. It’s been a rough time for my family. My father is, thankfully, still with us, but he turned 79 in a nursing home, drifting in and out of the years of his life. Sadly, he’s permanently brain damaged…
The reason for this letter is to let everyone know what’s going on, and to touch base. I have fallen too far behind to continue taking commissions at this time – I will be devoting my time to finishing the existing commissions that have been on hold while my life spiraled out of control.
Everyone who has a commission with me, don’t worry – I am working to get caught up, and I will post finished art on FA periodically. As soon as I get caught up, I’ll open my books again.
Thank you for being so patient;
Terrie Smith

Hope you are OK
We'll be around when you do! :)
At any rate, its at least good to hear back from you.
I'm terribly sorry to hear your father is doing so poorly; my condolences. Still, I was worried about your existence with how long you'd been gone. >.>
You'll get nothing but sympathy from me. My Mom was diagnosed with dementia in her late seventies and lived another ten years. As I was leaving for work she'd say, "You be careful at work. You have a dangerous job." I'm a computer scientist. 30 years ago, I worked as an armed guard at a nuke plant.
