Life is strange

Things have been interesting the last few weeks, and it's been quite the emotional ride. A few weeks back I was taken down to the investigations department at work. It turns out that an email was sent to some "important" people at work saying that this person stumbled upon my Instagram profile (actually used my real name) and was appalled that the company would hire someone like me... some pretty harsh accusations made. I thought I was a lot stronger than that... When I got home, things started to sink in and I went to a dark place. Thought about packing up the suit and moving on. Fortunately friends talked me out of that and invited me come visit. I was asked to bring the suit. Wasn't planning on walking around in public with it on (well part of it) But I did. It was what I needed.
As I'm taking photos with the giant letters that once stood in front of a popular Southern California theme park, families were walking past on their way to the water park. As I was being myself, I could hear the kids say, "look, it's a giant fox!" Some wanted to come up for pictures, but were also too eager to get into the water so there were no pictures. But they were excited. As we were headed back to the car, I passed a family and a little boy told me that he liked my paws. Keep in mind I have the hand paws and head off at this time. I still have my tail on and the feet paws... it was hot. I said thanks and told him to have a fun time at the water park. As we passed each other, I heard his little sister say something about my tail, and then he turned and yelled, "I like your tail too!"
Later I was searching Pinterest for something... most likely a recipe. But In things recommended for me was a photo of a furry with a girl in a wheelchair. the Headline was "Furries are Bad People" I read the text that was under it and it was a touching story of how DogBomb made this girl's day.
My Managers think it's amazing and even look forward to "Fox Friday" pictures. And even though the investigation team discovered that the email came from someone I work with, I still continue to be myself... a fox... and Irish Fox... I'm a furry and I'm ok with it... actually I'm pretty damn proud of who I am!

I am really sorry you had to go through that. It is sad that someone has nothing better going on in their life but to try and make another person miserable. :/
You keep being your awesome self.
You keep being you, dear. Don't let anyone make you think you aren't fantastic!
