Sunday morning my cat, Daryl, started having urinary problems. He couldn’t pee at all, a condition which can quickly become fatal for a male cat. I rushed him to the vet monday morning since he was not getting better. I got the diagnostic this morning: he has crystals in his pee, a problem caused by his lineage.

The good news is: it’s a common condition and he will be fine as long as he eats a special diet for the rest of his life in order to prevent crystals and bloquage.

The bad news: I now have a 300$ bill vet on my credit card, another appointment in 2 weeks to make sure the food and drugs are doing their work, and food that costs 3 times more than what he used to eat to buy…

A friend suggested I turn to crowdfunding to help pay for his medical expenses. I’ve never done anything like this before, but if it can help me even get 10$ it will be worth it.

Anything, even 1$, can help. I’m looking to raise funds to pay for his current medical bill, and hopefully have enough to cover his next appointment (which I might have to cancel since I have to pay rent before everything else)
