Rocko's Modern Life TV Movie Confirmed...!!!

I just saw a bit ago that Joe Murray confirmed there will be a Rocko TV film airing on Nick at some point in the near future. I find this to be very exciting news given that it's been almost 20 years since the original series ended production in 1996. What's more is that he will be heavily involved with the film's production, as i had a hunch that he would given he is the creator of the series to start with.
This is a very exciting development, first with the Hey Arnold! Jungle Movie coming next year and now Rocko. I wasn't expecting it at all. I'm betting that they'll get most or all of the original cast back together for this.

BTW, today is coincidentally the 25th anniversary of the debut of the Nicktoons brand back in August 1991.

It's a TV movie actually, not a full series like the original.

yeh i know but sometimes those get shelved too i remember the coach reboot got canceled before it even aired and i did not know when the x files reboot was on so i missed it

Yeah like how the Hey Arnold! Jungle Movie was thought to be forever shelved after the first movie underperformed, until lo and behold they revived it nearly 12 years later.

Funny enough the first film was intended to be a TV film called Arnold Saves the Neighborhood, yet they changed it to theaters even after the Jungle movie was originally what was going to be shown instead. Of course we all know what became of thatintone movie underperformed in theatres and resulted in the proposed "Patakis" spin off being canned as well.

I'm sure they'll come up with something good for it, more than just the standard "Rocko gets into crazy situations" plot that was in most eps of the original series.
yeh maybe a time travel episode remeber how the last episode ended well the second half one at least^^

Yeah that was a great episode, the only weird thing is that Dr Hutchison never appears once in it at all. Maybe she was just conveniently off screen at work or something???

I don't know, then again a wacky show like Rocko doesn't usually go into things like that. For all anyone knows they could still be together even then.

Or maybe they just didn't have her appear for some reason or forgot to, they could have at least had her show up with the kids at the end though.
