How low can Steven Universe fandom sink?

When life gives you lemons, burn life's house down. Preferrably with life still inside.
First, there was the Zamii harassment incident, where they organized attacks and harassment campaigns against a kid for drawing off-model fanart of the characters, and it got to the point where the poor kid attempted suicide.
Now, they've set their sights on storyboard artist who works on the fucking show, for, get this: "queer baiting".

-According to a Reddit forum, the harassment started right around when the episode “Beta” aired earlier this month. News of a possible relationship between characters Lapis and Peridot (or “Lapidot”) had been hinted at months before, after leaked footage (something Zuke was also upset about) showed the two characters had moved in together.
-While the relationship isn’t canon, Zuke shared some art that appeared to show support for the ship, which pissed off select fans of Peridot and Amethyst (or “Amedot”), saying she was showing favortism for one ship over another.
-They also accused her, a gay woman, of “queer baiting.” In some circles that means teasing queer fans with a possible ship that never comes to fruition, in others it’s bringing up a character’s sexual orientation to encourage homophobic attacks against them.
For a group claiming to be followers of a show that preaches tollerance and acceptance, these people sure tend to be the exact, toxic opposite of the show's messages...

Not to mention the first person who they nearly drove to suicide just because the fan art made was a little different...that's a really pathetic reason to harass a person.
Then again every fan base has its own cancer festering in it.
The show's creators are liberals and when they heard that the LGBT community was rooting for the show they were excited to get those politically correct brownie points, however they were very naive, they had little idea how much of a bully the LGBT community is and ignored the obvious warning signs even after the attempt suicide bully campaign fiasco. Now the community has the show's creators by the neck. Hell I say this as someone that lives in a very liberal city and lives close to LGBT group protests, they are down right nasty and gladly will spit at your face simply because you're a male. But they are subtle about it because they know the art of using politically groups to hide behind. Hell LGBT has become the new MAcArthur trials, I've seen the groups here bully businesses and stores to shut down simply because they didn't cater to their own.
Besides, most LGBT members are not pro gay, they are pro self ego gratification, using the overall group to push their own agendas, the same logic is PETA cares about animals (they don't). If you follow a lot of the news there is a HUGE battle right now between transgender groups and gay groups they hate eachother, There was even a huge fight on twitter with feminists and transgender groups simply because transgenders were stealing the thunder of real women's plights because most of the transgenders were men now claiming to be women and all that jazz....
anyway to wrap it up, the show by this point has turned me off completely, the writer have ignored their own lore, the fans have basically hijacked the show to fit their twisted narratives for petty reasons....and as a dude that knows the cartoon industry is in a dire state because we NEED good cartoon shows now it's a shame SU is one of the only decent cartoons on air right now thanks to the dumb choices CN continues to make on making crappy cartoons and at one point even tried to destroy their cartoon department...
Repeat after me:
"It's their show, they can do what they want. It was not written specifically for me, and if i can't accept that, then i can occupy myself with another show. My thoughts, opinions and fanfactions are not the word of god, and i need to NOT TAKE A FUCKING CARTOON SO GODDAMN SERIOUSLY!"

"you can do anything your heart's desire"
The problem is no one gives them the tools to do that and it materializes in a psyche that believes they are special for simply being them, however this also creates the issue of ego, so now you're a loser with a huge ego that refuses to change because your whole life you were taught to be this special little snowflake and a show like Steven Universe that thrives on the "war is wrong love is peace" despite the HUGE glaring issues that the Homeworld gems are not only super powerful but sometimes in life you NEED to go to war to fight for your right for peace. Something this show tosses it out on and caters to that generation of people like I said, that are summer children that never once knew or had to live a life that was hard or difficult, hell to these people the most challenging thing they had to do was get a job working retail or telling their parents they are "sexual orientation here" , meanwhile the culture and media promotes this because it helps more to sympathize rather than give you hardcore emphasis that you actually need.

Actually, that point was addressed in the show just a few episodes ago. Turned out that Steven's mom wasn't exactly the peaceful saint other Crystal Gems saw her as, and Garnet confirms this, by saying that sometimes, Rose had to make difficult choices in order to win the war.
n' the whole 'queer baiting" sounds like an excuse to make them change.
It will get worse. If not in Steven Universe than somewhere else.
With the responsability of having access to a machine that one can use to speak with people over the world, one would believe that the advice from parents or adults on how to use it civilized like would be taught first of all things.
"Empathy go **** yourself, this is personal!"
But enough about MLP fans... XD
To wrap this up;
It DOESN'T matter who little green dorito (Peridot) is gonna rub her vagina against, the fact that your putting the FICTIONAL relationship of FICTIONAL characters above the feelings of a real person just proves how pathetic you are and for that, I pity you.
