I've recently been having some troubled times. Having lost my fiancee and been given little choice but to continue with a career I very much dislike. A few days have passed and It's been pretty rough, from having one too many drinks to not being able to look at certain things without remembering the good times that are now gone.

I took a 45 minute break to write a small short story. My first ever attempt at first person narrative titled "The Bartender". I feel like posting it in its first, rough draft form as it is an expression of my feelings and my way of trying to cope with what I'm dealing with currently.
