The feel as though its not such a big deal, considering its not hurting or affecting anyone else. It also gives them a way to vent excessive emotions, stress or frustrations. I don't know, that's my feeling on it anyway. I just feel as though if they get to experience it at their own pace like that, they're less likely to search out (possibly more illegal/immoral ways) to do it.

Well I did when I was 16 but I was drawing porn with my friend at the time and her parents found the porn I drew and wanted to call the cops or sue for mentally scaring their child ((when tbh most of the porn on her stuff was drawn by her anyways)) anyways fucked me up scared the shit outta mean and didn't draw anything nsfw til I was 18

If you've gone through sex education at school already I don't really see the issue with extending that knowledge. Just my opinion.

I kind of don't think they should because some of that stuff is really disgusting/graphic. I didn't and still don't like looking at that stuff.

I think that the pornography that is produced is dangerous for developing minds to see in a vacuum, and they might gain unrealistic expectations or harmful views from the materials they are subjected to, but I also think that forbidding them to look at or draw porn isn't going to work because (possibly excluding asexuals) young teens will start becoming interested in their own sexuality at that point

So I think the best choice is probably to overlook their searching/drawing porn, but for guardians to maintain dialogue with them about sexuality while letting them explore. Make sure they understand that porn is unrealistic and how objectification and certain dynamics are only fantasy so that they don't end up with harmful ideals

Drawing as a creative outlet, sure. Being commissioned, no.

As for looking at porn, I'd say 16+ it's fine as long as they don't get the expectation that it's actually how sex works most of the time. I've educated a painful number of adults on how sex actually works (especially women's bodies)
