So I had to reinstall windows after a hardware upgrade, which led to my being unable to log into my skype account because I had it auto logging me in before. No problem right? Just recover the account through email. Except when I do they send me a code to recover my Microsoft account, not my entirely separate skype account. I guess a while back they decided to merge the accounts, and anyone who didn't get the memo or decided not to is just fucked when it comes to recovery now.

My laptop might still auto log me in, which might let me link the two accounts so I can do a proper recovery, but I loaned my laptop out to a bud who won't be back for over a week.

So basically, bottom line is, if you want to talk to me sometime in the next week, send me a note so I can add you somewhere else.
