However neither do I vehemently condemn those who make such works.

I think the thing is that the art can be set up into two seperate industries: the SFW and NSFW. When someone draws both the potential audience triples (just a random guess, it increases a lot) from if you're only drawing SFW art.

Honestly I don't have a problem with NSFW art at all. I personally don't commission it, and don't actively search it out, but whatever you draw to get money is fine ;P

As long as you keep drawing some SFW stuff too I'm happy :)

Yup, you got the idea. After little observation I realize my followers count grow too slow, so I won't "make it" in near time. At least without help.

Not a fan of lewds. Tasteful scenes are always nice since there is a true love relationship happening between the two partners instead of just an urge to unload or to get screwed. I may be biased on this but yeah...that's how I feel.

Although, that's up to you to go on with porn. You are the artist. If it's a good idea for you, go ahead.
I understand you are worried about that and maybe about us being upset to see porn. But the thruth is, it's not your fault at all. There is a button at the top right corner of this site that says "SFW". We press that and we have our mind clear. We can also use the SFW enforcing domain (sfw.furaffinity.net) so there is no reasons for a follower to complain about you submitting porn. It's his responsability to filter the content he gets.

Maybe you could just start with pinups? It's not plain porn and it's pretty fun to see sometimes. People get some unique ideas with these most of the time. Also, pinups can still be SFW by not showing private parts. ;) Although, make sure you don't rate it for General audiances just to make sure someone doesn't get embarrassed at work with that popping up on its feed. ^.^

Honestly in my opinion, you should just do what it is you want to do. But It seems like you are having issues with discover-ability rather than people accepting and liking your art (since you get a decent amount of views and favorites)

If you feel uncomfortable doing something nsfw, you shouldn't feel you have to. changes your audience, but that's something you have to be okay with. Learn and study what it is that people want that you are comfortable doing, and embrace that. focus on a theme for your work, and make that theme something you love. Like scifi styles? then focus on drawing that. Like horror styles? then focus on drawing that. Learn where people who want to see that are, and show it to them. Go to /r/furry and share your works there, and share it in forums or other places that will appreciate your work, post it on image boards, post it on that sfw version of e621, post it anywhere and everywhere that will like it.

Start doing adverts, make social media pages on tumblr, twitter, facebook, instagram, and every other god damn furry site. Join facebook groups that share furry art and post your work there, and then link back to your page. network with other furry artists, share their work that you like on your twitter or facebook and they might return the favour. Dedicate a day a week or a couple hours a night to update all your social media consistently.

you CAN NOT sit and wait for people to find you if you only limit being discover-able to the 2 minutes you're on the front page.


Seriously. There are 2 parts to this. Your art skills and your business skills. If you're looking to become a well known artist work on BOTH parts, being a good artist, AND being well known.

Well, my business skills is sucks. You right, I should sped more time to promote myself (at least more than zero).

All that I drew so far is that I like to draw. Never likes to do porn, but tasteful nudity is one of the things I like. So I think I'll keep going in that direction.

Post my work to every related place is pretty obvious advice, Problem is I'm not very much into furry so I don't know much. I know there to start searching though.

Not promoting yourself is an artist's biggest problem, but it's a skill you need to develop just like art skills.

Again, Do you. Just do what you want to draw, don't feel like you have to draw lewd-er stuff for other people or you just wont enjoy drawing.

I think NSFW has kind of a limited audience. It's much easier to get views with porn, especially fetish porn, but eventually people want stuff they can show off without feeling embarrassed. Also, comics get a lot of views too, if only cus people have to click through to read it, and a humorous or relatable comic often perform as well as porn.

Also also, I've noticed that people tend to like scenes in general (that is ,the characters doing stuff, not just posing). Porn are scenes by default, but general audience art is often portrait or poses, which people generally pass by. No one should feel shackled by porn, it's an easy audience, but a fickle one.

In my opinion if you can - you should to participate to Furry culture its true sense of clean and philosophy artworks. We all should carry about the most kindest subculture with its good ideology of helping others to live. Furry is not just fun.

P.S. Think, do bad things for "trend" = (in example) selling your sister to brothel.

well if you want to, go for it! i'm a huge fan of your art and i want to see you get the recognition you deserve. just as long as you like what you're doing. maybe like a few pepole have suggested some tasteful scenes, they are probably the closest to your current works. just keep up the good work and do what you feel comfortable with. sorry if this seems a bit short or simple i'm not the best with words.
