So, I was contacted by Firestorm and told that he can start working on my fursuit as of September and can have it completed by December. I'm so very excited, but due to the numerous instances that came up at the beginning of the year, I'm playing catch up with my money.
My bed was supposed to be paid off already ($1,200 left), but because my puppy needed surgery ($500) and then about 3 weeks later my car needed surgery ($500), I had to hold off on paying off my bed so that I could take care of stuff that needed to take priority.
School is about to start, so I'll hopefully be able to get the money I need to pay for the suit. But, just in case, if anyone wants to help me out, I won't turn down the assistance.
In order of priorities, I'm paying things off in a specific order. The people I already owe know I've been waiting for this suit for so long, they're okay waiting until I have it paid off first. Just so you guys don't wonder about my order.
1. Bed (pay off by the 18th to avoid $800 interest)
2. Fursuit (about $2,500)
3. Mom (about $2,000/$4,800 left)
4. Dad ($200/$400 left)
5. Feline Element ($300/$450 left)
6. Credit Card ($500 this is paid here and there)
I am prioritizing, and if it weren't for the fact that FireStorm was so quick, I would have the money saved up after paying people off. I wasn't expecting him to get to me this fast. It's also not something I can postpone because I've been on the waiting list for years (I had the money years ago and spent it on car repairs, assuming I'd have it saved up real quick again, oops).
I know I can do it, it's a matter of watching my pointless spending (which since I've had to move back home, I've been doing a great job). I also have GameStop to help me save up money too. I'm just hoping I don't exhaust myself too badly.
