Musings of yours truly.

In which I discuss my feelings and thoughts. Feel free to respond with however you form an opinion about this.
It all begun with a book, inked text on a paper canvas, bound with glue and leather. To envision a book, its physical form, is but a mundane object, but to envision the meanings of its contents, lets you into a great new paradigm. That was what I have grown addicted to ever since I captivated myself in a story.
I am not the only one who appreciates them, I'm sure there are many others who do as well, but this is my take, my words, my portrayal of my feelings, my motivation, my muse, so to speak.
Be it in a sketch, painting, cell shaded, or linework. A movie, a cartoon, a anime, a short film. Or that of a novel, a hardcover, a graphic novel or manga. Or that of a tune, a melody, a song, or just music. Even in the many genres of games. There are many forms of art, and I appreciate them.
I revel in feeling the emotion, the passion, in them. The loss of an ally, tender care of a loved one, loneliness of the abandoned, terror of the frightened, acceptance of the damned, wickedness of the evil... All of them.
I feel myself absorbed into the medium of the characters, motivations and emotions. Empathy for a fictional plot, I find myself obsessed, sometimes even unconsciously wishing that I was in there, in that very situation, experiencing it all.
I feel all this, I am inspired by all of it. This is what drives me. I feel it, under my flesh, in my bones, an ache, for the feelings and meanings placed in the pieces that people have lovingly crafted with their strength, weaknesses, determination, will, blood, sweat, and tears.
And this is my creed.
I seek to be inspired, to empathise in the feelings behind each work. And I also hope to inspire, and give life to the ideas I create from such inspiration. To understand, and then to express. To appreciate, and to be appreciated.
To some these may be incoherent crazed ramblings of some stranger on the net, but I hope it brings some insight on how I feel.
And yes, I think I am currently feeling the effects of Pose Series Depression. Heh.
Well, c'est la vie. I await to discover new creations to enthrall me in their grasp. Till we meet again.
And to everything that I have found interest in, and the creators behind them, thank you. Thank you very much.
And to the future, I put forth this request. INSPIRE ME. INVIGORATE ME. LET ME FEEL ALIVE ONCE AGAIN. *Maniacal laughter* I thank thee in advance.

I know what you mean! I love finding a good series or a good author. My main man, Stephen King, has a series called The Dark Tower that's about 7 books long, each around 500 pages at least. In it he builds such a fantastical world, one that's his nod towards LOTR and Tolkin, his homage so to speak. When reading those books, I'm able to envision this world and kind of experience it through the characters and it's so amazing and I love it so much. He has another book, a memoir, called On Writing where he gives his thoughts and musings on the art and what it takes to make good stuff. In one part he compares writing to a form of telepathy because even though we're not in the same room or speaking, he/authors are communicating their thoughts and feelings to us. I can envision something and give you the same vision in a basic sense (with some details, of course, being different due to personal thoughts and nuances). It's a beautiful thing, really.
