Majority of people who say that they are into role play are usually only interested in smutty ERP. Not Role Playing.
That's why I no longer RP unless there are character sheets & dice involved.
I don't mind ERP on occasion, but it seems like that's all anybody ever wants to do. I like a good story and a gripping adventure. Facing challenges and overcoming obstacles, quests and stuff.

What do you define as role-playing?

Normally I save the dice based roleplaying for game night. Most of my roleplays are just slice of life where there isn't a set story, it's just the characters playing together and doing basic stuff. I really enjoy it but I'm also up for other types of roleplaying. (Not ERP) I only ERP with someone I've actively been friends with first.

Slice of Life? So just basic free balling it. Cool.
I haven't found any good RP'er in a while. Most give one line non-descriptive responses, or just want to ERP. Which gets old really fast.
That's why I hardly ever RP anymore.

I'm very selective. I only rp with like 5 people but was hoping to find one or two more
