So, this journal is a bit late since things have been busy lately. X3

The convention was quite enjoyable. A few hiccups here and there since apparently it was a new venue, but overall I had a nice time. ^^

Didn't take long to have more going on when I got home, though, as my friend JSfreeman came to visit that following week. We had a great time, and I showed him many of the sights in the area, and there's lots to see the next time he's up here as well. It was his first time this far north, so quite the adventure to share seeing parks and monuments with someone who'd never seen them in person before. ^^ I'll link to his journal when he posts it, so you can read all the details and his impressions of the trip.

After he headed out of town to head home, I had to get ready for my next semester. It's been fairly mellow, but keeping busy due to dealing with office politics at the school. But it also means that art will continue to be hit and miss for a while. I can try and post sketches if folks are interested. I do have some commissions I've bought that I'll be posting before too long, though.

Anyway, there's how the past several weeks have been. Little hectic, but definitely not in a bad way. X3
