Hey, writers!
Dear all, i know every of you is a wonderful person blessed by many talents. I wonder, if anyone of you with native language english can help me with translation of description for several pictures? It should be some kind of dialogue between characters and i want it to be living language (not my dead english words learned in school).
I love this story very much and want to share it with you!
If you wonder the characters are
- wolf (young and simple person, inspired and easy)
- owl (not too much older but pretends to be more wise)
between them is the deep and tender friendship
one of the picture needes to be described is here

At first I decide to put short dialogue straight to the picture,
but i really like your description so i just don't know what to do.
...Maybe you want to write a book for this pictures? I have 15 pictures and want to draw more!
Writing is a big job, i realize. so this suggestion is a kind of joke. But i'll be happy if you decide to do this.
Thank you again!
I appreciate your suggestion.

it would be wonderful if you help me to bring the meaning to the dead letters.
"I'm not dawdling; I'm practicing."
"Practicing what? Idleness and indifference? -- (2nd idea) "Practicing what? Lethargy?"
"No, Owl. Calmness and serenity."
Hopefully I was able to help out? If this isn't quite what you were seeking, I can try again! As an English fanatic, this is fun to me :)
I really need to learn... dancing with english words.
"Practicing" is a good word, i think.
There is second part of this story, here -

is it fits good, how do you think?
If you write the words of the dialogue/conversation in Russian I will use Google Translate on it. Sometimes that helps me understand better.
One of the things I do when writing notes and emails to people who do not read English good/well/natively. I use several words that all have the same meaning/interpretation/definition. I hope that helps the reader if they understand/know/recognize one or two of the words but not all of them, or if Google Translate picks/chooses/selects an odd word when it translates one of the words.
Having several Russian words for moulder/idle/fribble may help me understand what you want to say. It could be 'idle' or 'lazy' or 'still' or 'quiet', or even something like 'just sitting there' or 'wasting away' or 'idling away the hours'.
Having several words for impersonate may help. It could be 'practicing' or 'learning' or 'envisioning' or just 'impersonating'.
I am proud that you have an interest to this pictures.
I belive you can show emotions and describe characters only by choosing proper words.
the original text is
- Эй, волк! Ты чего бездельничаешь?
- Я не бездельничаю. Я олицетворяю.
- Олицетворяешь что? Лень и апатию?
- Нет, Сова. Спокойствие и безмятежность.
Hey wolf! Why are you being lazy?
I'm not being lazy. I am demonstrating/practicing/exemplifying/embodying/epitomizing. (pick 1 and use the same word in the next line too)
Demonstrating what? Indolence/Sloth and apathy? (pick 1)
No, owl. Mindfulness/Calm/Tranquility/Serenity/Peace. (pick any 2)
The choices of exact words can help show the character's personalities.
- wolf (young and simple person, inspired and easy)
demonstrating/practicing/exemplifying/embodying/epitomizing (pick 1) = I suggest 'demonstrating' or 'practicing' because they are the simplest of the choices, the other words are more fancy/complex/learned/uncommon so they do not fit a young and simple person.
Mindfulness/Calm/Tranquility/Serenity/Peace (pick any 2) = The choices of words here will help define wolf's personality. I actually like Mindfulness and serenity because it sounds wise (inspired and easy-going) without sounding too learned/intelligent and seems to match the lesson: "when you really enjoy calmness nobody could bother you". The word Mindfulness is generally associated with meditation and may not be familiar to people who have not studied meditation or Buddhism. If you wanted to say the same thing without using a fancy/uncommon word like Mindfulness, you could say "The serenity of living in the present moment".
- owl (not too much older but pretends to be more wise)
Indolence/Sloth (pick 1) = I suggest Indolence because it is the fancier word so it is a better fit for a character that is trying to appear wise/learned/intelligent.
So my suggested translation would be:
Hey wolf! Why are you being lazy?
I'm not being lazy. I am demonstrating.
Demonstrating what? Indolence and apathy?
No, owl. The serenity of living in the present moment.
It's so difficult.. (very strange grammatical construction "Why are you being lazy"?! )
Additionaly i try to rely on music of the words, and on my own dictionary
(since both character lives in my mind).
Anyway i'll continue uploading pictures and i would be grateful if you find interesting to comment them.
For that moment i don't need help because gorgeous canisaureus decide to help me.
Thank you for your attention!
