Car fax will not deal with any car older than 1981. I am an air-cooled volkswagen fan, of which the last beetle rolled into America in 1980. Carfox can do nothing for me, so I look at their mascot and say "That's nice" and keep going.

oh god. I remember my parents having an air cooled/warmed Westy, 78 I think. That really was a two season camper XD

no, it died a while back but my parents still love their volkswagons. My mother drives a 97, the last year they made them. My father is in the process of fixing up another one because the one she has is ready to completely die out.

I used to drive an 87 Westy camper back in college, horrible mpg but great as a study retreat with the mini fridge and table space.
