Here is a good read... very enlightening

When misguided public opinion honors what is despicable and despises what is honorable, punishes virtue and rewards vice, encourages what is harmful and discourages what is useful, applauds falsehood and smothers truth under indifference or insult, a nation turns its back on progress and can be restored only by the terrible lessons of catastrophe. – Frederic Bastiat
BLM: The Making of a New Marxist Revolution
by Mike Gonzalez
The George Floyd protests that have occasioned great changes throughout American society were not spontaneous events. Americans did not suddenly rise up in righteous anger, take to the streets, and demand not just that police departments be defunded, but that all structures, institutions, and systems—all supposedly racist—be overhauled. The 12,000 or so demonstrations and 675 related riots took organizational muscle. The ideological grip on all things from the classroom to the ballpark required ideological commitment. That muscle and commitment were provided by various Black Lives Matter organizations. The leaders are avowed Marxists who say they want to dismantle our way of life. They and their activists make savvy use of social media to spread their message and organize the marches, sit-ins, statue-tumblings, and riots. They seized on the video showing George Floyd’s suffering to unleash nation-wide the insurgency. This book will look at who exactly these leaders are, something the media has so far refused to do.

2.- capitalism is bad, but socialism is worst, and people use that stuffs to say "hey! somehow I'm better than you in a way " while they are used as pupets for a corrupt politician
come on! the simple response is that people is greedy and envy; and if you pay attention out of the definitions and means but in the kind of people involved, you'll see that many greedy people goes to capitalism and envy people goes to socialism
and about mind control, well that is my business here, come and check my youtube channel and my gallery
Most countries in Europe have a mix of socialism and capitalism and it just works.
Sure, you pay less taxes in the US, but you just pay more everywhere else, and for ridiculous amounts and for stupid reasons sometimes. You think you got a good deal off your internet provider? Think again.
Also when you say socialism, you seem to be talking about communism.
But socialism can be just that: Society isn't fair, so we try to make it a bit more fair. Equality of opportunity is not equality of results. Anyone born in the world should be able to raise the social ladder if they put in the effort to do it. That's what meritocracy is, right? Only thing, you can't get true meritocracy if the game is rigged against some people for the start (I'm not just talking race here, but classes in general).
Hence why we have universal healthcare, hence why we have free education. We try to correct unfairness however we can. It's not perfect, but it's statistically a lot more fair than the US.
And I mean, you can keep using the few examples that absolutely failed while ignoring the "in between" that kinda work, but let me tell you, this ridiculous fear of socialism feels a LOT more like brainwashing to me than what you were talking about. It's been the same paranoia for over 70 years now...
Mexico and other latinamerican countries have realized there are many mistakes with one side and the other, so, it is nothing to do with your "experience". Curiously now that the new government is closer to "socialist" things, we are going VERY BAD... it is not "paranoia". check out the PIB of Mexico in the last 20 years!
If you think back, you'll realise that many "in between" countries are capitalist primary than socialist, then, actually you CAN'T state something like "socialism works"
Even China! they are comunist but, why do you think they are solid now that they are behaving more like a CAPITALISTS? ... free market, solid companies, supposedly with NO intervention of the government... CONTRACTS WITH APPLE! and other companies
As an American who has witnessed/suffered/experienced some of these so-called 'Peaceful Protests' (here in Oregon, yay)?
I can tell you from my own experiences just how malignant Antifa/BLM truly are, and the real threat they (and this Marxist/Socialist/Communist/pick-a-'ist') present to any society they infest. They and this *WOKE* idiocy is a psychological cancer that has been raging unchecked, and boy, is the rest of the world finally waking up to it!
I agree with you about 'Buzzwords', esp. when so many words (and history), are being re-written or warped out of context.
Every foundation is being eroded for some strange dystopian alter-reality that has never been proven to work.
People need to stop jumping at the first thing they see/hear, and do some 'Due diligence' in finding the full story/ies and actual facts, and THEN reacting accordingly.
Also everything you said about Europe is true, and it does benefits most people, and yes, it makes society a little bit more fair, but eh... McCarthyism is still alive and well in the US for some reason.
I never I.D.'d myself along any political/party line, because I find that tactic stupid.
"I" am an 'Independent', if forced to pick anything. 'I' believe in the Constitution and Bill of Rights, and that every American Citizen is bound by them. I believe our laws mean something, and if someone breaks them, should pay the appropriate price for their behavior.
There is no such thing as a 'Peaceful riot'. Nice to spout that line of BS, too.
A 'Protest' is peaceful. A gathering of citizens to show their support or ridicule of a given topic so govt. can get an eye-full and maybe realize lots of people think this or that way.
A 'Riot' is vandalizing, harassing/intimidating/assaulting/murdering other people, because you don't happen to agree with something they do. I have zero tolerance for rioters/looters/vandals/arsonists/criminals/murderers. You try to impede my travels or my 1st Amendment with violence, I'm more than happy to give you the beat-down your parents failed to administer to you as a child throwing a tantrum.
By 'You' I mean anyone on 'That side' trying to administer their stupidity against me/mine with their violence. I don't know (and I highly doubt), 'YOU', personally, would attempt such a thing. Talk is cheap and all that rot.
Is America perfect? Hell no. America is a work-in-progress, and always has been. That doesn't mean America does not, and never has, stood for some damned good things, and is a model of a new country/nation that has never been attempted before.
All I see now are mobs of angry fools, and an inept govt./judiciary/law enfarcement/MSM (weaponized propaganda IMHO), tearing down the country and over half of its citizenry as they attempt to change the definition of words, and force-feed their 'WOKE' idiocy down everyone's throats.
NOT a wise tactic, because that's only going to rile people up, and as we've all seen, cause nothing but discord.
Now, if that's the real intent?
Well done.
Good job, cupcake.
Now, run-along and play with your fellow Village Idiots. Remember to find your way back home when the street lights are *ON*.
Run-along.
That starved for attention, are you?
Go play in traffic, then.
Preferably the kind moving at a high rate of speed.
Do the world a favor.
Enjoy my blacklist, for I do have better things to do.
Consider BLM corrupted, and I KNOW very much about corruption... I'M MEXICAN!
I'm not even a politics expert, but in a cold way... who the hell in the world truly is! Capitalism is a bad stuff if you think about carity and common wellness, however marxist and socialist people are very very rotten, they use your "awareness" to exploit you spirit of revolution in order to distroy anything they don't like and, as have been seen all across Latin america, to put mediocre people in power.
Marxists and any form of comunism will always use any social problem to manipulate people. and as many of us, anti marxist latinoamericans say: "it is very easy being a marxist in a country where you can buy an Iphone with less of the payment of 6 months! (no offenses intended)
Denial seems to be the chosen tactic from those on the 'Left/Liberal/Democratic Socialist' spectrum.
Good luck with that.
One of the very wise things this man shared with us in his writings is how important it is to know your enemies better than we know ourselves.
I highly encourage you/all to read his works. While it's primarily written for combat (hence the 'War' in the title), it is just as valid in any difference of opinion or perspective.
I can 100% respect and appreciate someone from Antifa/BLM having issues they see need fixing. The world is full of things that need fixing.
What I refuse to accept or comply with, is being or using terrorism to promote a maligned agenda. Antifa and the BLM are full of maligned agendas and Socialist (pick an 'ist', for there are many more), and their actions alone prove they are the problem more than anything they're espousing.
So, not trying to pick a fight with YOU, Ty.
Just sayin', I hate mucking out the stalls, but if it isn't done, the problems only get worse.
I feel the same way watching/listening to things SAID by people from the 'Left/Liberal/Democratic Socialist/Antifa/BLM/et al, and then watch and see what they actually DO.
You can't have it both ways- DEMAND EQUAL RIGHTS, and then use racism, violence, censorship/shadow banning/penal punishments/weaponizing govt. the judiciary and law enfarcement to force everyone else to comply.
Nope.
Unless, of course, I'm completely wrong, and far too many people have willingly surrendered their spines and fortitude, and WANT to be compliant 'Sheeple'?
It IS a choice, after all.
Since the Rodney King beat-down, then the O.J. then,,, hell, that list would never cease, would it?
'Racism' has been weaponized and warped beyond all recognition over the past five years especially.
The rise of Antifa/BLM as 'Names' (kiss my ass, Biden & Co., for trying to dismiss them as 'Ideas'!), and then observing with utter disdain how govt./the judiciary, and FAR too many in our Law Enfarcement have ignored, denied, supported and THEN bent their cowardly knees to these domestic terrorists finally snapped me awake and aware of just how bad things have become.
Seeing MSM, 'Hollywood/Dismay (uh, Disney)/et al' merrily jump onto this train of idiocy?
We're in more trouble now than we were in the times that lead up to and include the Civil War.
That's my take on it, and I've seen nothing to make me think it's getting better anytime soon.
To me it looks like a "All you know is lies, but *I*, know the truth. You want proof? Buy my book." kind of thing, with a pretty convincing title and synopsis.
Of course I haven't bought it, and to be fair I know very little of american politics, so I can't say for sure. But here in France I've seen booksellers with very similar types of narratives (some are left-leaning, some are right-leaning, and many others, because of course there's gotta be a book for everybody to buy).
If there are arguments and sources in this book which can be brought forward however, I'll gladly take a closer look at them.
Nobody paid me to get mad from watching cops murder people in cold blood.
It's just wrong.
Stop reading books that tell you wrong is right because reasons.
Miss me with your straw man.
Democrats: see Reagan-era "law and order" policies resonate with voters.
Democrats: Pass the 1994 Crime Bill, written by Joe Biden, that Federally funds local police (COPS, Community Oriented Policing Services... like all developments, it's named after what it destroys), removing control of local law enforcement from local voters, a first principle of U.S. law enforcement since the American Revolution.
Voters: Hand Bill Clinton a Republican House and Senate for the first time since 1946.
Democrats: In 2009, shove more money into COPS.
Urban voters: Get sick of the cycle of Higher Taxes -> Less employment -> More kids go into crime -> Businesses flee -> Less employment &c., and the terrible Education Monopoly administered under the public teacher "unions" (85-90% Democrat).
Black Democrat Governors, Mayors, Police Chiefs, District Attorneys: "Don't blame us for high incarceration rates, it was those evil Republicans!"
Saying "police brutality is wrong" doesn't make you special. It's common as dirt.
Saying, "cops kill people at random," OTOH, is.
https://www.furaffinity.net/journal...../#cid:57857299
I'm sure less cops shoot people randomly than the general population.
No, what makes you a "commie" is your insistence on blaming fictional creations for real social problems.
