My cousin just gave birth to her 6th son, his name is Cody. Ironically enough today was the day I picked to reasearch the Mayan goddess, Ixchel, who so happens to preside over child birth.
Shadow, the cat I was taking care of got sick and had to be put down. It started a couple months ago with a neck wound that turned into an abcess. I couldn't afford to pay for his treatment so I enlisted the Lakeshore Humane Society, who paid for his vet visit. The vet told me that, because the abcess was on the top of his neck, they had to cut it open. He also agreed to nueter shadow. I left him in the vets care.
An hour or so later, the vet called me. After running some tests, Shadow tested positive for feline AIDS. Feline AIDS acts the same way as human AIDS. It destroys the immunse system wich leads to comlecations due to illnesses like a cold. It's theses illnesses that cause death. After questioning the vet and finding out that he would be nearly impossible to adopt out because of his illness, and I couldn't keep him inside,I agreed to have him put down.
Some birthday present.
On a lighter note, I went to Zebro's for the first time and tried myself some duck for the first time. It was pretty good. The service was great and the beach was in walking distance
I also went to my cousins birthday party. A family function she actually showed up too! But alas, the candles would'nt light so we ended up having to use the blow torch. God's I love being a hillbilly, we always got something haning around we can improvise with.
Any ways, we all had a good time.
