Last weekend was Furry Migration, my local con. I sold in the artist's alley all 3 days and it went well! I took pics of (most) of the badges I made so I'll have to post a compilation at some point. I also just finished all my physical take home work, now just an icon and a ref to make. Woot! I love going into cons, making a shitton of art all weekend, and leaving with little to no homework. It's like entering into an art tunnel and emerging with CA$H lol.
I will say that road construction and city parking can go die in a fire somewhere though. Screw that crap. And Brit's Pub in downtown minneapolis is good; they have roof seating with lawn bowling. Special thanks to Incog for arranging our outing.
Shout out to all the cool people I hung out with:
, and I don't know Incog or Snow's FA but them too. :P
I also officially registered for MFF with some of the money I made. My first big con! I'm going to be taking preorder badges I think.
Also also, I'm not sure if I mentioned this anywhere but for the past 2-3 months I've been selling pastries at a local farmers market. That's wrapping up after next Saturday. My schedule has been so packed this summer between art, farmers market, and then doing things because... it's summer. I'm looking forward to having some personal time back.

I'm so excited for you that you're going to your first big con! :D Some advice: make sure to have a room as early as possible, because they get filled surprisingly fast.
