Yet again big company shows how de-touched from reality they are. And that YOUTUBE HERO thing proves it. Or maybe they just desperate. They know they dont have enough manpower to run the site so they now look for workers among the users. And they wanna recruiter people for FREE. ell, not entirely free, the will give people POINTS. Holy shit.
Thou I probably can see why youtune did it. If it will work(but I dont believe it will work) youtube can finally monitor its videos and everyone will be happy. But if it will NOT work, youtube can say "Those guys did it!" But again, do they really hope that this system not gonna be abused like all others before? Im sure all trolls and SJW had a huge boner from watching that video. Some probably still jerking off.
Things do get worse for that site. But it doesnt look like they will lose much at this point if people stop uploading videos. Their basically make cash on those few big youtubers. And unless those utubers will leave the site, the company can just chill and sip on their coffee mugs.
Well as I said before there still alternative to youtube. Like Vimeo and Dailymotion. (Thou after using Daily I can agree, it a bit crappy). Also recently I found an other site called VIDME. No idea if it any good. I will try it myself in a future. Hope it at least better than Daily. And lets not forget about the Vessel. Do I mean by showing this video sites that it is The End of YouTube? No! Youtube if its gonna die, it will need to lose a lot of blood(users). And I dont think they will be in a rush to leave the site. Even after Youtube Heroes shit. But I do believe we need to be aware of other sites. Remember, YouTube wasnt big when it appeared. It needed time to grow. So maybe one of this sites can grow in to something.
