Haha.. i bet for the third choice. Just make a movie that fills your pockets and it's done, forget about the narrative, the story and everything else.

Yeh i hope it is the case, hehe. I mean I get it, making 'dam' films so kids can watch it and force their parents to pay for their tickets, that is what drives the economy, lol. But now the 'dam' becomes boring and over used, and people now have hundreds of dam films from the past. Even stupid kids eventually will want something more original or less dam.

Popeye was something I couldn't watch everytime because sometimes it was just strange but I watch that before I would watch any of the newest idiot kids shows. I think they would turn it into something really superficial and stupid maybe even following the stupid trend to turn everything into a stupid 3d animation.

Im sure it still will be a film for kids, like the Hotel Transelvania. Tartakivsky will probaly will have his fun with Primal series before he will start actuall work on the Popeye. Personally I liekd the first HT, and I just wanna see more of that kooky 3D and more of Tartakovsky's brain power.

By all means, here's hoping that it's actually good and some board of Hollywood morons (read: executives) don't ruin it in the name of just plain not knowing how to just leave something the hell alone.

They people who only cares about numbers. But Tartakovsky at least has weight as popular director with things which made money, so at least there is a chance they will let him do his work, as long as they belive it will bring profit.
