Coool! Hmm...you know...this might be a little stereotypical, but why don't you try drawing him in an unsleeved diyamo's outfit. Something like that was done for one of the lords in Usagi Yojimbo.

Maybe it attempts to disguise itself as a coral snake by painting the other band pattern and wearing false fangs? My cousin had sonoran milksnakes, but there are many varieties. Any gender would work. You could play with the fact reptiles lack mammaries and produce what many mammalian-biased people would consider an androgynous female. That is always fun.

I actually like milk snake patterns more than coral snake patterns, so i probably won't go that route.

I looked at Wiki, 'cause I am the lames... And I like the "Scarlet Kingsnake" or the [Albino] "Nelson's Milksnake" out of the ones I found there. And I agree with Chael on the whole no-bewbs on a lady shtick X3 I don't really like to dictate other people's characters personalities though ^^;
