Crazy herbivorous spider!

There's an herbivorous species of spider! Even more awesomely strange, it's been observed displaying quasi-social behavior with multiple adults living together without apparent conflict, and females protecting hatchlings and young! This is basically like discovering a species of carnivorous, solitary cattle, it goes past absurdity into what would otherwise be the stuff of unbelievable fantasy.
On top of all this, it's a salticid (jumping spider), the single most adorable family of arachnids on the planet. Oh, and the species is named bagheera kipling.

Just when I think i have too many anthro characters, nature drops another ridiculously awesome animal into my field of knowledge. I must anthropomorphize this, especially since they have gorgeous patterns: http://salticidae.org/salticid/DIAG.....r/kipli-ol.htm (male on the left, female on the right).

They're still scary, but less so.
