About this Youtube Hero thing....

When life gives you lemons, burn life's house down. Preferrably with life still inside.
For those who do not know what it is, just look at this video:
And content creators are already expressing their disapproval of it. Why?
Simple. Let's gloss over what this feature entails:
-Youtube encourages people to flag videos that are deemed inappropriate or harmful in some way, and by flagging more videos, you score more points.
-When you net enough points, you become a sort of non-paid moderator, which means:
-you can mass flag and even delete comments on videos you don't own.
Before you ask what is so wrong about it, think about Youtube's policy regarding flagged videos; they always operate on "shoot first, ask questions later" policy, which means you'll have a strike against your account and it stays as permanent record, even if you did nothing wrong. And think of how many people are out there that try their damnedest to get certain videos removed because the video carries a message that does not fit their personal narrative or opposes their agenda. This shit is gonna get abused and go straight into censorship territory.
Also, it smells to me like Google/Youtube letting people do for free something that should be a job for paid moderator staff, but without any regulation or control. Totally not gonna backfire or anything...

This latest Heroes schtick reminds me of the Inquisitorial Squad from Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. It opens up a huge can of worms for essentially tattle taling. I never uploaded anything to my YT account and now I never will. What people need is a viable alternative to YT that'll hit them right in their wallets where it would hurt the most.
I mean I get the 'reasons' they are doing it, but this is straight up stupid. Do they think between the new censorships in YouTube and this that people are actually going to tolerate their bullshit? The dislikes on that video vs likes speak for themselves, the pussies even disabled comments to avoid the backlash they KNOW will happen. Thats some grade a bullshit.
This is why 'law and order' is bullshit, its arbitrary rules set that typically the citizenry is expected to follow, but the rich and powerful are essentially exempt from. This is true mostly worldwide, although Finland is a little better (we have laws for controlling corporate growth, preventing monopolies, etc which is why american companies like Walmart are not able to operate here and in much/most/I think actually all of Europe) and systems like our ticket system where someone rich gets charged more for a traffic violation ticket for instance than someone with a low income (the tickets % is decided on the income of the individual so the ticket does not break anybody that can not afford it)
So, look at 0:22 of the video you put up.

Then watch this from part of from that video gain and see some words were changed.
