A better person, a better friend, brother, son, everything.
I wish I was better.
I just keep spinning down further and further into despair and it's no one's fault but my own. I wish I was better.
I'm getting just very close to giving up, I can't make it, I'm not good enough. I wish I was better.
I wish I could run, scream and close my eyes and go back to a better time and place but this is the life I've made for myself and it's not what I wanted, but is what I signed up for. I wish I was better.
I'm sorry for the wrongs I've done and crimes committed but sorry doesn't fix it, nor take it back. I'm my own judge, jury, and executioner. And I'll gladly smile when I finally submit to myself and give in.
