Well today I went to see the doc about my wired jaw. She said that everything looks great and she was surprised at just how well everything is healing. So Oct 10 I go in to see the doc again and she is going to remove the wires. She said she wants me to get a day of being able to move my jaw around. Then the very next day I am going to have the metal bridge removed along with the rod in my lower jaw. She said that I have lost a little weight but that is all normal with having my jaw wired shut. So Oct 11 I will have everything removed fro my mouth and I can start eating solid foods once again. The nice thing is that by Oct 13 I will be back at work.
