How to present myself?

One thing that has been in my mind recently is... how exactly do I want to portray myself in the furry fandom? I did have a bit of a clear idea when I hopped on: I wanted to see cute furry art and be all cute and all. I also kind of wanted to break some stereotypes on snakes, but it is mostly about the cuteness. :3
Then I started to get a bit involved in some more unusual stuff. I have mentioned before I really love transformation art and I am not ashamed to admit that. :P But I stick to the SFW side of it and I would love to draw more TF art in the future.
Same goes for soft vore. And I'm not sure if people can believe that vore can be SFW, though even I have to admit it is pretty damn weird. :P
Nowadays I'm not as worried about how people think of me as before, but instead... I am still kind of figuring out how to portray myself, and how involved I want to be on certain things. It is less about being judged and more about how I want to present myself.
I mean I can always go full-blown NSFW if I wanted to. Some furries just want to do NSFW and advertise it in their front page, and I totally respect that! If that is what they personally want.
In my case... just what exactly do I want? Besides more TF art? :P

You can't just display a third of yourself. You're the OwnlySockPuppet, and all 100% of you is unique from everyone else. Let people see that. FA is a buffet of different (sub)cultures and ideas. Get your buffet on.

Though I enjoy the cute art you have along with the TF stuff, but FA is a hotbed of many interests, bother-worldly SFW aND NSFW, youll just be throwing pebbles at a boulder at this point if your afraid of standing out.

Speaking as someone who rightfully worries about reputation, I'm going to be brutally honest and say that one reason furries and FA have a bad name among the general public is because of the NSFW content. That being said, if you really want to break stereotypes about furries, you're better off keeping what you publicly post SFW. This is not to say you can't be NSFW in private, though, and I am impressed that you do have a desire to make furries look better than they do.
Yeah I very much agree with you! NSFW doesn't really make up most of the fandom, in fact I've read that it makes a smaller percentage of the fandom. Still, there is no denying it is part of the fandom. Not saying it's a bad thing, and I think it's good that we can share some unusual interests with other people and find they're also as nice as we are. :P
I definitely love to break stereotypes. Of course I can't be 100% original, but I personally like to stick out in my own way. It's not often we get to see a feral snake on FA. :3
Well, I honestly think how much NSFW content there is is debatable, but still, I do agree with you overall.
