I think your art is gorgeous. I know for me I do like to connect and become friends with other artists but that usually happens on other platforms like twitter. I also have more art friends on there than here I think and I've been on Twitter only this year. I think that type of communication you want often comes out better on social media sites than an art site alone. I've been posting art for years and years (not just here) and I still only have a handful of consistent watchers despite all that I have. It often takes time. Plus a lot of time if people like your work they get shy to talk to you. That being said, if you ever want to chat don't be shy to hmu. ♥
