It's about time I did an "About Me" post.

I don't write much in my journal so don't expect much.
Hi my name is Dray. I am a 29 year old single male wolf. I am straight and searching for that special female to be my mate one day.
I play video games a few nights a week, watch a lot of Netflix with my dog and work a lot. I am in the car industry and love to work on and be around all kinds of cars. I autocross and race when I can and have the time. Camping and going riding with friends is always a blast for me and I try to take my dog everywhere with me.
The furry world has been a big part of my life for the better part of the last 15 years. I was quite about it and didn't really start doing much in this community until 5 years ago when I decided I wanted to be more active.
I have a fursuit and enjoy suiting when I can. It is a magical experience and I absolutely love the reaction I get from people. Especially children :)
I got into the furry work out of a fascination of werewolves. When I was younger I was always very shy and reserved. The only things I excelled at was anything to do with cars or sports. I am very athletic and loved to play and do all kinds of sports. In high school I was just your average kid. I was friends with all the different clicks though and I really enjoyed that. I didn't have any enemies that I knew of and got along well with just about everyone in school. I had friends old and younger throughout my high school years. One thing I always kept to my self was my dream of being a real werewolf. The heightened senses, the strength, the athleticism, the wolfish body. I always dreamed about what it would be like to transform or to permanently be a wolf. Looking at cool werewolf art back then I found that there where other were species out there and others like me that too wanted to be these fursonas. Then one day I found out about furries. A community and world were there are thousands upon thousands of unique animal characters. You have all your basic animals and even many that have been created and thought up to create a new species. Some colorful and others not so colorful. It was a world where the creative minds and ideas are endless. I also stumbled upon the NSFW images of some of these animal characters and being a high school teen that was horny all the time. Well you guessed it, I was intrigued by this taboo of animal like people engaging in sexual things. How beautiful and sexy some of these characters looked started too become fantasies in my mind. Fast forward 10 years from high school and I am now in my mid 20's. I have been lurking for so many years and finally realized. I am a furry myself. I think about and fantasize about a world filled with furries. I started to think about what I would be and it didn't take me long at all. Werewolves are what got me here and Wolves being the biggest and baddest canines around I had to be a wolf myself. I am partial to the more realistic looking characters so I decided to go with a gray wolf. Now for a name. I'm not the most creative person so my fursonas name was simple. I mashed up parts of my real name and came up with Dray.
Well thats a little about me and about how I got into this crazy world of furries. I have met lots of cool awesome people like myself that have a lot of the same points of view on this word and made lots of new friends. I hope to make many more friends and hopefully one day find my mate.
