**IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR CURRENT AND FUTURE COMMISSIONERS**
9 years ago
Hello everyone, I hope this is actually read.
First off, thank you to all of you who have been patiently waiting for your commissions,
My stress from lack of funds has been getting to me especially hard lately,
and it has a bad tendency to paralyze me
and generally get in the way of me getting anything done.
Hopefully if at least my significant other can get a job,
then it’ll be much easier for me to get back to work
and generally stop feeling like my world is falling apart.
That being said, come January I’m planning to raise my prices considerably.
While I’ve been trying to do work these past months it has become painfully obvious that I’m really underselling myself,
usually at around $5-3 an hour for what most would consider skilled labor.
I can’t keep that up,
and certainly not for supplemental income while I search for real work.
I’m going to try and adjust the prices to about an average of $10 and hour,
which for some of them will almost double the price,
but all around I’m still going to try and keep my prices as reasonable as I can.
Obviously anyone who’s already paid for a commission isn’t going to see any messages asking for more money,
but if you want to help out, tipping me is much appreciated.
You can do that here.
Thank you to those who’ve read this,
I hope I’ll still see some of you buying art from me come the next year.
I guess if we did try and do it hourly instead of a flat rate it would be effected, but if we did decide to do that then I would want to figure out a payment plan anyways, that way I'm not slamming you with it all at once.
