In my experience, long tails can be a bit of a pain (especially around doors), and generally speaking white anywhere near the ground is really hard to keep clean. That all being said, however, it's not impossible to manage it. Just watch your butt around doors and invest in scotchguard.

I have a big-ish tail that touches the ground due to my height and even that's annoying, but most of my characters have huge floor dragging tails and I want suits of them.

Friends of mine who have floor dragging tails have tail covers ! They're super cute faux leather pieces of fabric that cover the part of the tail that drags the most (like feathers on a DAD suit) and still look super cute, and can be removed, I think that's a fun way to protect your suit tail, I plan on making for myself when I get my next suit of one of my characters with floor dragging tails haha.

I like that notion. I'll definitely take that into consideration :3

That's always an option. Have no idea if it's actually what I want tho... I am not leaning towards doing that for now.

As kip mentioned you can get a braced tail, basically a tail with a solid shaped core to keep it off the floor, just watch out for fast closing\heavy doors

I dont think long tails are that annoying and you can always carry your tail! but...the white part however :c I can see that becoming a pain...

I considered going back to a cream which is Dessy's roots anyway, but I think I'm sticking to the white.

as long as you remember to wash after every outing or con you should be fine! :)

It'd be completely feasible to develop and 3D print a wagon-ribbon attachment for your tail. It will surely keep the tail cleaner, and complement your adorable look at once.

I know of a Sergal suiter with a particularly long white tail. From what i can tell, he made or commissioned a stuffed colored faux leather end to protect the tail from wear and tear when dragging. then again it could be a cover that others have mentioned above. He goes by Rin, he has quite a few videos on Youtube, mostly danceing, if u want to see what i mean
