I am so sorry you've had to wait so long for your commissions. Life has been really bumpy for me this year...
My backlog has gotten out of control... between me being the only source of income for a year and my in-laws raising rent every other month, I've had to go out of my comfort zone on the amount of commissions I take to make ends meet...
My husband now has a new job and so I won't be opening commissions for a while now. I have to catch back up.
There's really no excuse for the lack of professionalism and my laziness....
I just hope you all will give me the benefit of the doubt and stay with me..

This is also (at least to my knowledge) the first time you've ever really been behind on stuff? Most of the folks I know are pretty understanding, unless it becomes a repeat ordeal/the wait time becomes totally ridiculous.
Life happens! Bad things happen, and them eventually they get better.
I do hope that things will stabilize on your end and you be able to return to a comfortable level of work, both in content and quantity.

Considering you've tried doing so much for so long on your own, it honestly shows me you are rather strong, especially in being able to admit something like this to your fans and friends.
I would gladly wait until you are ready and willing before requesting anything, but I hope to continue seeing your beautiful art in the meantime, and I wish you lots of love and support.
