Had this idea on the way home from work.

The backstory is that I've been resistant to selling adoptables because I was never sold on the idea of buying the right to use a character's design myself, after all I don't really mind if people drew any of my characters in fan art and such, and allow posts of my work on fchan because I figure both are free advertising. However, at the same time I like the ides of coming up with a character or two and seeing what someone else would do with it.

Then I thought of "Ychoptables": what if I auctioned off not only a ych drawing, but also include in a character that same person can adopt as their own? That is, the character is fully drawn in a ych with a second pose reserved for your fursona, and if you win the auction you not only get yourself drawn in it, you get to claim that character as one of yours.

If you don't happen to have a character or don't want to use one for whatever reason, I can also substitute one of my own (which will stay under my ownership of course, but the adoptable is still yours).


How does this idea sound? Anyone interested in doing such an auction?
