So after a few days of no power or phone, my folks and I made it out of the Hurricane Matthew practially unscathed. We are INCREDIBLY lucky to have had no flooding issues around us despite being two or more football fields away from water sources in three directions.


To any and all who were worried about their favorite Burr, know that I am okay and I hope that you are all doing the same.

And on behalf of my state of NC, to all those who have helped in the relief efforts to the areas hit hardest by flooding and wind damages, thank you. And help is still needed so find anything you can for donations or even help lines for folks who need aid at this time.


Thank you all again and hopefully, we can begin to get back to normal around here. ^_^
