A related thing that I think is an issue is that if being trans is not a medical disorder (as I've seen some people claim) then that means getting cross-sex hormones, surgery &c. is (extreme) body modification in which case why should health insurance pay for it? And why should males modifying their bodies be allowed into women's changing rooms and toilets?
