OK, so lately I've been reading up on how to do Perler bead artwork, which kinda excites me. I am decent with my hands, and it seems like something I wanna give a shot at, I love making pixel art on minecraft, and got a hang of even making 8-bit furry characters on there. I was contenplating actually making art of peoples fursonas at first with the beads before selling them.

I had a few questions about it, so I asked a few friends who actually make artwork from them. Right now, they are being blasted by someone else who makes them, saying they stole their original idea, but the art isn't truely theirs, they originally did a design from Nintendo, then claiming as their own. I dunno, I don't think that's fair. It's not truely their art, if they got the design from Nintendo, no?

I want to know your feelings on it guys, is it right for him to bitch about someone else using a similar design to his perler bead art, saying they stole their idea and art, or is he in the wrong?

Plus, if anyone else out there does Perler bead art, I'd like a few little tips, if you'd care to share it.
