First time since 1945 reaching the World Series, lets see if they can take it all for the first time since 1908. 108 years... my great grandma was born in 1908, just a month after the Cubs won it the last time. I know it was amazing when my Royals won the whole thing last year after 30 years so I can imagine what its like for Cubs fans who's grandparents weren't even old enough to have witnessed the last pennant.

I honestly can't deny the irony of the fact that despite it being a year late Back to the Future seems to have nearly predicted this. Of course they aren't facing a Miami team rather a Cleveland team who's city hadn't seen a champion in more than 40 years until the Cavaliers this year. And of course as well the Miami team is the Marlins not the Gators. Lets just hope that the outcome in BTTF is the same in real life.
