Waff, Seeding local NC con, and con fatigue

Think most of my local fuzzies know by now but this happened:
been dating a little over a month now and things have been going well, very happy. <3
Upcoming weekends are very busy,
fangcon is happening this weekend! I'm a little leery of the drive and this will be my last year if they stay in AL. ><
More importantly Tarpaw Furmeet (https://www.eventbrite.com/e/tarpaw.....ts-26988325809) is coming up the weekend after. Ideally in a few years we can turn this event into a real convention! Right now we are trying to gauge interest and get a mininum attendance of 125 fuzzies, please attend if you can. Lots of fuzzy fun. <3
is coming up the weekend after that, its the first time in five years there will be a furry con in Ottawa, ON! Flying up to help out as staff and looking forward to it. ^^
I remember back when I was a wee fuzzy delivering pizzas and could only do one convention a year. This year I'm locking away 7 (possibly 8 if I can swing MFF with Gamma). Its so darn exhausting to think about, I dont know people do it, I've heard rumors there are furs that def attend way more cons on a yearly basis. That said I'm really going to tone back my con traveling next year. AC is a sure thing since I'm still on staff, along with FTM and FAU are good they're really close and convenient.

I'm happy you guys found each other, congrats you two ***HUGS*** I hope you guys have lots of
fun at all the up coming conventions... I don't know how you're doing it, but ALL the power to ya lol.
I think the only cons in my future are Furpocalypse (tomorrow) and Anthro New England in January.
Slight possibility of New Year's Furry thing in Deleware, even slimmer chance of MFF up in Chicago...

I hear you on the FangCon drive, and I'm really hoping that we can survive that together, heh. I've driven the entire stretch of road we'll be taking many times over the years (family in both Atlanta and Birmingham, weee), but never all in one go from Raleigh. Should be interesting! Or, well, we'll make it interesting because the road itself will be quite boring. As much as I love the con, this is the only time I plan on making this trip, so I hope it moves somewhere closer next year.

It is certainly possible to envy them but better to consider what your life has and theirs lacks.
Quality over quantity, though. You have a good mix. Wishing you both safe travels and the best of times at FangCon. I wanna hear stories afterward. ^^
