Anyone else getting excited for Halloween? It's falling on a Monday, which is kind of a bummer, but I have always had a blast helping to hand out candy to kids with my fursuiter friends.

It says something that I'm a handler and it's still fun. It's work, too: filling candy bowls, taking pictures, keeping people hydrated.

Funny things happen: The first year we had a neighbor ask about the fursuits, and he seemed a little too interested in them. Yeah, it got a little weird.

Another time, I was wearing a football jersey (because lazy) and I was standing outside with a fursuiter friend. A kid walking by asks his dad: "What are they?" He points at me and says: "That's the football player," then points to Furbal and says "and he's the mascot!"

I can't wait to see what happens this year! :D
