Requests: No I just interviewed for a job today and they gave me the offer today a couple hours after the interview! I'm so happy. It's not starting out at all at the same pay rate I was making at my job I got laid off from, but after the 60 day probation period it changes based upon performance and experience. So at least I hope it increases close to what I was making. If not I'll just have to work extra hard and start doing part-time freelancing more often to make up the amount I'm not getting. =D I suppose buying kittens gave me good luck!

Congratulations and good luck! :D

Thank you I'm very happy =D It was getting boring being at home for 2 months. Now I see it as a very nice break.

I've been reading up on your journals, and I am so happy to hear that you've got yourself a job again! Two other friends of mine lost their jobs as well this year despite being VERY hard workers (and MYSELF included, held a management position in retail, fired after 4 years of working, supervising, teaching and training, and managing). I hope this turns out for the best for you, and I am very happy to hear you're hired again! c:

Thank you! I don't like that I'm not going to be paid the same rate as I was making but I hope after the 60 day probation period that will change. If not I just have to work my butt off and try to do more work on the side to make up the amount I'm not making. Yeah being laid off was so damn hard because I loved my job I'm still mad but there was nothing I could do since they cut the position. If they ever decided to hire another artist again I actually might go back though, but I doubt that'll happen. I mean I hope it would but I don't want to get my hopes up. At least new job will hopefully end up being good. I'm just happy to be employed again. Being off for two months and not working was driving me crazy...

Same here--it was about two months for me. I lost my medical insurance, and without my meds, the withdrawals have been awful. Thankfully things are starting to take a turn around for me as well, I just need to keep working hard. I will keep my hopes up for you! You have my continued support as a faithful watcher of your artwork (since late 2009/2010)!

Thank you that means a lot to me. I really need to get my butt in gear and start creating personal artwork again to upload and be more active here. Thankfully I was able to go on my Husbands insurance.

I actually was starting to wonder if I should have taken meds for depression and anxiety during my time off. I wasn't in the right state of mind. Since we adopted our two furbabies [Luna & Wheatley] I have been in the best mood ever! I love them so much. They are so cuddly.

That's what's important! I'm glad you were able to find a way to feel better without having to take meds. Meds aren't miracle workers, but they do help for some people. I'm glad your lil' furs are doing the job, it's much better than what any med could do ;3
