Evil triumphs when good men do nothing. Also voting voting for the lesser of two evils is still voting for evil. Vote for what you believe in not just who you think will win.

i refuse to vote for either of those two political trainwrecks, and if the rest of the people of this country want to vote for which way they want our executive office to fail, the corrupt Clinton way or the racist, idiotic Trump way, than fine... i refuse to stand with either group.

this nation will survive either form of idiocy in the long run, that much i have faith in. so fuck voting for the lesser evil. if i have to vote for evil at all, there is no fucking point. i will give my write-in vote for Bernie Sanders as he is the only person who's ideas and policies i felt made the most sense, and who also was actually likable in comparison to the bitch and the retard.

i have the right to vote for the person i most believe would fit the office of presidency, and thats exactly what i'm going to do. and i dont care if he doesnt even have a chance to win as long as i vote for the person i most believed in.

My point wasn't about voting for evil, so much as voting at all. I'm not going to bother commentating on my opinion on the candidates, but any vote is worth casting if you believe it'll do the most good.

problem is, i know my vote wont amount to much, too many people tell me that writing-in Sanders is the same as a throwaway vote or not voting at all, but i disagree. feeling forced to vote for someone you hate just to make sure someone you hate even more doesnt become the president is NOT how this system should work. i should be able to vote for someone who i believe makes sense, and many other people believed made sense too, and he should have a fair chance to win. it's unfair how the campaigns of several perfectly likable, rational runners on both sides got crushed under the bootheels of the better-funded and better-hyped campaigns of the two worst candidates.

I appreciate that. This journal's not really a great place to rant and expect to spark a discussion. I encourage you to make your stance known somewhere, though.

Never let a person tell you "you are wasting your vote" that is a lie created by the duepoly to scare people into only picking the two of them. Your vote counts, it says I don't agree with any of the candidates that were put forward, and the people counting the votes will noticed, for them, a disturbing trend that people are not going to fall for their lies any more

Did you know the position of president was considered a service? Early presidents would become broke while running the country. Think of it like jury duty for the rich. Ask not what your country can do for you but what can you do for you country. If the people demand a certain person lead them who are they to say no?

Just to put this out there I'm not a berni supporter but if some one wants to write him in I'm not going to try to talk them out of it.

I never cared about politics before this election. I only care now cause of the threat against LGBTs. At least we can most likely count on the majority of the furry fandom to vote for the candidate that isn't trying to enable discrimination against us.
