Earlier today I was getting ready to go out because I had some business to take care of. As I finished shaving, I remembered that the batteries in my little radio were getting weak. (I like to take care of such things as they occur to me so that I don't forget them.) Changing the batteries only took a minute. Then I went to turn it on to make sure that the batteries were in properly and that I hadn't taken too long and lost my presets. It occurred to me as I did that I could listen to the radio as I finished getting ready to go out.

As soon as I pushed the on button, the radio loudly and clearly played a man's and a woman's voices singing, "No, no, no! No no!" So I turned it back off again. I can take a hint!
