To be fair it wasn't much else to choose from; the people who were most stable were drowned out in a storm of extremism and Clinton wasn't a much better choice :o

Not really an excuse, though. It's America's fault that these two candidates were chosen to run for President in the first place. It's the people's fault that this has happened and no one else's. I don't blame anyone who doesn't want to associate with a country who's people don't know how to properly choose a leader and instead choose the two shittiest people for the job. People are mostly complaining about the wrong thing here. It's the people as a whole that are a mess and need to get their priorities sorted out. It was inevitable that we were going to get one of the two terrible candidates, but it wouldn't have happened if people didn't novelty vote Trump in the first place (because LOL es funny) or choose Hillary just because she's a woman and represented women. Though it's even worse if they voted these two candidates in with serious intent.

I'm personally embarrassed to be called a US citizen and be compared to the people who chose either candidate in the primaries. Sad to say it, but the country has become a joke and we're only going to hear more of it in the coming years.
