OOC Post: Anthrocon

OOC: Hey all, it's the fellow who plays Captain Jack -- 
tauakhera -- just giving a heads up about AC to those who were expecting the old Captain.
Unfortunately , he won't be showing up. Due to a sporadic work schedule as well as some prosthetic and costume re-working -- I need to steal moar from work, lulz -- Jack will be absent. Alongside that, I don't feel like driving 14 hours from Florida to PA just to bring a costume, when someone's already paying for my plane ticket ...and you have no idea how difficult it is bringing a pirate costume ( aka sword, gun ) on an airplane.
I know this isn't as interesting as interacting with the Captain himself, but I'll be there as , well, me, for a couple days before I have to head back to FL to work again.
So if you wanna hang out or talk or drink or whatev with the guy behind the pirate, come say hi. I'll give my phone number to those interested. It'd be nice to meet people outside of the makeup and such.

heh, chances are I'll probably not be bringin' m'fursuit either... but from what I've been told there will still be rum an where there's rum ya know this ol' werewolf ain't too far b'hind... it'd be nice ta share a few swigs with ya at a more r'laxed pace than jus' shovin' a bottle to ya while passin' by in the parade :)
